About the Author

Diana Bukaeva

I am a teacher of Russian as a foreign language with over 14 years of experience working with children and adults in various countries, including teaching at a university in China.

Founder of his own school for bilingual learners (both online and in-person) and author of a method for teaching Russian to children from scratch. Based on my system, 11 textbooks in the“Say: Hello!”series have already been published, which are used by teachers and parents around the world.

“I’ve had a passion for teaching ever since I was a child. It’s not just my calling—it’s my life. For many years, I taught Russian as a foreign language, and after my children grew up and I realized how difficult it is to find a good Russian teacher abroad, I began studying bilingualism and now work with Russian children living abroad.”

I regularly speak at international conferences and train teachers who want to work with bilingual children and students without a language immersion environment.

I have professional training in both Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) and the methodology of teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL), which enables me to apply the most effective international teaching approaches.

In addition, I am the mother of bilingual children who are growing up outside a Russian-speaking environment, so I understand not only the teaching methods but also the real challenges faced by students and parents.
